Payment Terms and Conditions
These Payment Terms and Conditions govern all financial transactions with Garage Litter Gitter. By purchasing or booking our services, you agree to these terms in full.
1. Payment Methods and Authorization
We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and ACH. When you book online, payment is processed securely through our payment provider. By completing a booking, you authorize us to charge the payment method provided.
2. Estimates and Surcharges
Quotes are based on the photos or description you provide. Additional fees may apply if the actual volume or scope of work significantly exceeds the original estimate. We will communicate any surcharges before proceeding when possible.
3. Customer Preparation and Access
You must provide clear access to the garage at the scheduled time. This includes unlocking doors or gates, providing entry codes if you will not be present, and moving vehicles out of the garage and driveway. Items you wish to keep must be clearly separated or labeled. If we cannot gain access within 20 minutes of arrival, the appointment may be canceled and any deposit or fee paid may be forfeited.
4. Pet Safety
All pets must be secured away from the work area during service. We are not responsible for pets that escape, and we reserve the right to refuse or stop service if an unrestrained or aggressive animal is present. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
5. Prohibited and Hazardous Materials
We do not haul hazardous materials including (but not limited to) motor oil, gasoline, antifreeze, wet paint, solvents, pesticides, batteries, ammunition, fluorescent bulbs, medical waste, or biological hazards. If prohibited items are found, they will be left on-site and remain your responsibility. No refund or discount is given if hazardous materials limit the scope of work.
6. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for pre-existing damage, structural issues, mold, or wood rot. Our liability for accidental damage caused by our team is limited to the total amount paid for that service. We are not responsible for valuable items left unlabeled and mixed in with items to be removed. Any damage claims must be reported in writing within 24 hours of service.
7. Refund Policy
All payments are final and non-refundable except in the following cases:
- We decline or cancel the job on our end
- We are unable to perform the service due to our own operational issues
In those situations, you will receive a full refund of any amount paid. Once work has begun, no partial refunds are issued unless we cancel the job.
8. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may result in forfeiture of the deposit or minimum fee. If we cancel or need to reschedule due to weather or other issues on our side, we will work with you to find a new time at no additional cost, or issue a refund if preferred.
9. Non-Payment
If a payment is declined, the appointment may be suspended until payment is received. You agree to cover reasonable collection costs if balances remain unpaid.
10. Changes to Pricing
We reserve the right to update pricing. Existing clients will receive reasonable notice before any price changes take effect on future bookings.
